The WP3 pilot training in Italy was organized by EURO-NET and held in Potenza as a face-to-face activity. The training involved young participants and focused on strengthening their ability to recognize fraud, fake news, and manipulative communication.
The course “Fraud Identifier: Depiction for Media Awareness” was delivered through five modules covering virtual safety, manipulation strategies, media influence, fact-checking techniques, and psychosocial impacts. The agenda combined presentations, discussions, and hands-on activities.
A practical final exercise involved the creation of short videos, allowing participants to apply the concepts learned during the training. The pilot confirmed high engagement levels and demonstrated the effectiveness of experiential learning in reinforcing critical thinking and media literacy competencies.
The Italian pilot contributed valuable insights to WP3, confirming the relevance of the training content for young people in different social and educational contexts.
