WP2 Focus Group with Young People – Greek Partners, WARRIOR Project, 2024

Within WP2 of the WARRIOR project, focus groups with young people examined fake news related to online products and COVID-19 misinformation. Participants reported emotions such as hope, fear, confusion, and anger. Trust was influenced by urgency and personal relevance. Official sources, peer discussion, and fact-checking tools helped identify misinformation. Young participants showed growing awareness and proactive verification behavior.
