As part of WP2 of the WARRIOR project, Erasmus ME Academy held a focus group in Bonn with young volunteers active in mental health, education, community support, and sports. Participants analysed fake and misleading news related to health, digital privacy, community services, and safety. Emotional reactions such as hope, concern, and alarm often preceded verification. Official sources, expert opinions, and critical thinking helped debunk misinformation. The session reinforced responsible information sharing and media literacy among young people.
