Within WP2 of the WARRIOR project, the Polish partner DIP carried out a focus group with youth workers on fake and misleading news. Participants showed a strong skeptical attitude toward media, relying on a limited number of trusted sources. Emotional reactions ranged from shock and fear to immediate fact-checking. Public authority, official messaging, and images were identified as key factors influencing trust. Critical thinking, education, and verification through institutional sources proved essential in recognizing disinformation.
